If we tell the public clearly why critical media and critical journalism are needed, and not servile trumpets for political propaganda, we have a greater opportunity to protect the media from harmful intentions and authoritarian goals of subordinating them and destroying media pillars such as RTV Slovenia and STA or even dismantling the entire media space,” said Petra Lesjak Tušek, president of the Slovenian Journalists’ Association.
