For years, the same scenario has appeared on the Croatian media scene when it comes to journalistic announcements about the successes and failures of the main Croatian media in various competitions in which they participate. The rule is that in these announcements, due to one’s own vanity and self-indulgence, professional standards and ethics are violated, so only one’s own successes (if any) are reported, and if there are none, such information is almost regularly withheld. To make matters worse, in the case when one writes about one’s own success, as a rule, the entire information is not conveyed in those posts, but only the part that relates to the respective medium.
